Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of My Simple Apps and any of our online tools, including any tool you pay to access. Last updated: September 2026.
1. About us
My Simple Apps provides simple, practical online tools for everyday tasks such as budgeting and planning. Some tools are free. Others are offered on a paid-access basis, as described at checkout.
2. What paid access means
When you pay for one of our tools, you are paying for access to that online tool for the access period stated at checkout (for example, a monthly or annual subscription). Our tools are provided as an online service only.
You do not buy or own the tools, the software, the designs, the calculations, the website, or any of the underlying intellectual property. We do not offer lifetime or permanent access, and no wording anywhere on our site should be read as promising that. If your access period ends and is not renewed, your access to the paid tool will end too.
3. Changes to the tools
We may update, improve, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue individual tools or features from time to time. We will try to avoid materially reducing the value of your paid access during an active paid period.
If we permanently discontinue a paid tool, we will aim to give reasonable notice where possible.
4. If we close the service
If we permanently close the service or discontinue a paid tool during a period you have already paid for, we will aim to provide reasonable notice. Where you have paid for a future access period that you can no longer use, we will provide a fair pro-rata refund for the unused portion of that paid period, where appropriate.
5. Refunds and cancellations
If your paid tool is offered on a recurring subscription, you can cancel future payments at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future charges; your access generally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We generally do not provide refunds for periods of access you have already used, unless a refund is required by law or unless we close or discontinue the service during an access period you have already paid for. We aim to be fair and consumer-friendly with refund requests — if something has gone wrong, please get in touch.
6. No financial or professional advice
Our tools are provided for general budgeting, planning, and educational purposes only. They do not provide financial, tax, investment, debt, mortgage, legal, or other professional advice.
You remain responsible for your own financial decisions. Please seek advice from a suitably qualified professional where your situation needs it.
7. Accuracy and availability
We work hard to keep the tools accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the website or any tool will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every user's circumstances. Please check any outputs, figures, or suggestions carefully before relying on them.
8. Data and privacy
We handle any personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Where a tool stores entries or account details for you, please keep your own copy of anything important — you should not rely on our service as your only record of important financial information.
9. Acceptable use
Please use the tools lawfully and only for their intended purpose. Don't try to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the tools or the underlying software, and don't use them in a way that could harm other users or the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the current one. If we make a material change that affects your paid access, we will let you know by a reasonable method.
